Jungle X-Pedition Teaser Campaign

The premise of Jungle X is that the whole area is an archeological site where temples themed around different animals were discovered. As we approached the media announcement for Tumbili and Jungle X-Pedition, we tweeted latitude and longitudinal coordinates every four days (playing off of the "4D" for the coaster type) of different real-world archeological sites. The following day, a corresponding poster was added to the construction wall in the park. 

I designed each of the posters to resemble vintage travel posters, and included little teasers for other attractions in some of them as well. Pompeii's callout "The Volcanic Eruption..." plays off of the defunct coaster from our park, Volcano: the Blast Coaster. "The Cosmic Mystery" in the Stonehenge poster is a reference to another coaster in the area called Flight of Fear, which is a sci-fi alien themed coaster. And finally, Valley of the Kings' line "The Raided Crypts..." calls back to the different names for the HUSS Top Spin that used to be in the plot that Tumbili now sits in, initially called "Tomb Raider: Firefall" and  "The Crypt," the new name given to the attraction when Kings Dominion was purchased by Cedar Fair.
